The Vendor is required to provide create and maintain an employee intranet platform for the Department.
- Provide, implement and maintain an intranet platform which will replace their existing platform (Simpplr) and build a foundation for a digital workplace.
- Functional, Technical, and Compliance
• Solution has the ability to integrate with common government systems such as SSO (Okta), IT Ticketing Systems (Jira Service Management), Google, Zoom or other systems that County uses to stay connected with employees.
• Solution adheres to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
• Contractor has knowledge of and experience around governmental structures and departmental silos as well as Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protections.
• Contractor guarantees that the information and content shared in the system will remain confidential and owned by County
• Selected contractor will provide a content governance life cycle plan as well as analytics available to administrators about a variety of areas in the system.
• Provide a documented technical support plan and Service Level Agreements that outline the support available to County during and after implementation.
• Solution has a fully responsive and stable interface for desktops as well as a mobile app for field employees who are not behind a desk.
• Selected contractor will provide a technical road map for the employee intranet platform for three (3) years at a minimum.
