Classroom and Computer Lab Management Software

The Vendor is required to provide for classroom and computer lab management software (CMS) for the digital teaching and learning department.
- Digital Teaching and Learning wants CMS solutions that help educators differentiate content for learners across a variety of levels and needs, not punitive solutions to simply control screens.
- Ideal software solutions will empower teachers with comprehensive control over their classrooms and labs, allowing for both whole-class oversight and individual student management. 
- Teachers should be able to easily blacklist or whitelist websites, not only for the entire class but also for specific ability-level groups they create, ensuring differentiated and secure access to online resources.
- Communication is key, so the software must enable teachers to send text messages directly to students. For secure browsing, teachers should have the ability to limit students to a single browser tab, or push specific URLs directly to student devices when needed. To support classroom & computer lab management and accountability, teachers must be able to take screenshots of student devices, track all open tabs and windows (not just the active one), and maintain detailed usage reports for each student, including a timeline of activity.
- The software should provide leveled access for both district and building administrators, as well as allow for the creation of individual classrooms for monitoring purposes. Teachers should also have the ability to remotely close tabs on student devices to maintain focus and safety.
- The program(s) should allow teachers options for enforcing the Acceptable Use Policy by disabling student access to websites during instructional time. With these features, the software will support effective instruction and uphold digital safety standards in a modern, multi-device learning environment.
