Traffic Analysis and Reporting System

The Vendor is required to provide traffic analysis and reporting system a cloud-based software application and management system, to facilitate the administration of the department statewide traffic monitoring program and other department traffic data and information.
- Requirement:
•    Provide a primary point of contact. 
•    Begin work within 10 calendar days after the issuance of the contract. 
•    Provide a web based, customizable, off-the-shelf system that facilitates traffic monitoring data management, traffic statistics processing, and traffic data reporting for state departments of transportation. 
•    System imports and export capabilities that are compatible with department traffic data short count traffic data systems import and export requirements. 
•    Provide a scalable enterprise application with multiple user levels and controls.
•    Deliver advanced spatial selection and analysis tools 
•    Offer technical support with option for customer to request additional system functionality. 
•    Provide a secure nightly database backup. 
•    Have the ability for users to run highly configurable custom queries against the traffic database. 
•    Offer direct database connections between the traffic database system and business intelligence and data visualization tools. 
•    Perform system maintenance as necessary. 
•    Provide technical support to system users. 
•    Data is under the ownership of department and cannot be distributed without department written approval. 
•    Deploy all functional and non-functional requirements (see functional and technical requirements schedule). 
•    At the end of the implementation, department requires an approved secure web-based application that meets the requirements in the functional and technical requirements schedule. 
•    Provide a robust system to allow for traffic data management and processing, including auto polling functionality for following continuous traffic data collection equipment as well as other industry standard traffic monitoring equipment and devices: piezoelectric brass linguini classification sensor; LINEAS quartz - WIM sensor; inductance loops – volume using IRD control devices: TRS and ISINC electronics; radar HD smart sensor with click 200 (manufacturer: Wavetronix).
