The Vendor is required to provide for the complete replacement of its existing cisco unified communications manager telephone system with a fortinet fortivoice (or equivalent) unified communications solution.

1. Solution platform
• The replacement system shall be a fortinet fortivoice unified communications platform.
• The city has standardized on fortivoice for this deployment based on a prior evaluation of unified communications platforms appropriate to the cities operational, technical, and security environment.
• Alternates may be considered, and the city will be the sole determinor of whether an alternate is the functional equivalent.
2. Unified architecture
• Centralized administration and configuration management.
• A single dial plan supporting both city and boe extensions.
• High availability (ha) configuration to ensure service continuity in the event of an appliance failure.
• Integration with all three (3) airespring sip trunks serving boe locations such that trunk-level failover continues to function as currently configured.
3. Telephony features
• All existing auto attendants and hunt groups, replicating current call flow behavior.
• Work with city it staff during the design phase to identify the full inventory and scope of auto attendants and hunt groups on both the city sides.
• All existing direct inward dialing (did) numbers and extensions across both city environments.
• Final counts and provisioning detail shall be confirmed during the design phase.
• Voicemail accounts for all individual users and for all departmental lines, with call coverage behavior matching the current departmental call tree (unanswered calls to individual lines may roll to a departmental line; unanswered departmental calls roll to the appropriate voicemail box).
