The Vendor is required to provide first-time homebuyer training and American dream down payment program (ADDI) application processing for county.
- Required tasks
• Group first-time homebuyer counseling class.
• This class curriculum shall contain, at a minimum, credit counseling, budgeting, and the steps to homeownership.
• Individual counseling to each ADDI applicant that has received preliminary approval by the county.
• A minimum of four (4) hours of counseling must be provided to each approved ADDI applicant.
• This counseling should be personalized to meet the applicant’s individual home buying needs.
• An invoice for service provided to a particular client at the contracted fee only after the closing has taken place and the organization certifies it provided the contracted level of service to the client.
• Promote the program by providing information flyers (prepared by or approved by the county) and by advertising the ADDI program and its basic requirements through other communication means already in use by the agency such as newsletters and its website.
