In Patient Coding System

The Vendor is required to provide an external Inpatient Coding System to ensure coding accuracy, workforce stability, regulatory compliance and sustainable operations within an increasingly complex healthcare environment over a five (5) year term.
- Must have data security protocols at a minimum requirement set forth by HIPAA and HITECH
- Must at the minimum five (5) years of experience working with Altera (EMR), On Base document imaging systems and American Health wear (Eagle 2000) System
- Must complete all charts without query/missing documents within forty-eight (48) hour turn-around time.
- Audit Logging & Monitoring
• The System's a uc4 it logging capabilities, including whether logs capture:
o User identity
o Date and time of access
o Actions performed (view, modify, import, export)
o Data elements affected
• Confirm whether audit logs include grade and academic performance data activity.
• Describe log retention periods and whether they are configurable to meet institutional or agency retention requirements.
• Confirm whether audit logs can be searched, filtered, and exported in non-proprietary formats.
