The Vendor is required to provide for a cloud based course evaluation system that enables the center.
- Provide for software built on a recognized, widely supported technology platform.
- Provide a comprehensive, easy-to-use, customizable, and secure web-based software system for collecting and reporting anonymous evaluations.
- The system must be web-based and mobile-responsive. Preference will be given to providers with an App based solution for students. An online system status portal should be offered.
- This will include users with multiple roles (e.g. a Graduate Student, who also instructs a course). The system must also be able to accommodate team taught and cross-listened courses for evaluation.
- Must have the ability to import data either through SFTP or through an API from our student information system (PeopleSoft), and seamless integration with existing Single-Sign-On (SSO) infrastructure allowing users to log in using current agency credentials.
- System solution should offer flexible and customizable administration tools to support varied evaluation timelines and question structures by the various stakeholder groups: instructors, course support staff, department administrators, deans, and system administrators.
- The different question types should include single-selection (choose-one), multiple-selection (choose-many), numeric, text-entry for “other” within single-selection and multi-selection questions, open-ended textbox, ranking questions, etc.
- The platform should have the ability to create and dispatch our own custom reports and different types of report content for different groups of instructors
- The system should be able to create an unlimited amount of evaluation for administrations for different courses, intervals, durations and question sets under any given term and allow customization of the course evaluation by the various stakeholder groups (e.g. departments and instructors can add their own questions).
- The solution should allow administrators to preschedule digitally accessible notifications (e.g. emails) and reminders to all the users (students, faculty, administrators) associated with an evaluation. Email notifications should allow rich text formatting and provide the ability to insert images and hyperlinks.
- System Administrators, Academic Administrators, and Faculty/Instructors should be able to monitor response rates while course evaluations are open.
