Integrated Monitoring and Access Control Systems

The Vendor is required to provide as modular solutions and/or as seamlessly integrated solutions, and may be supported by related services such as design, implementation, monitoring, and training.
- Solutions must be capable of operating in complex, multi-vendor environments, including environments with legacy systems, multiple original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), and multisite deployments.
- Capability to support access management solutions that meet operational, security, and administrative requirements across multi-campus environments;
- Services:
• Security planning, system design, and access control architecture for campus environments.
• Development of technical specifications and system configurations;
• System implementation, including installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning, as well as verification of compliance with applicable building and safety codes;
• Integration with existing access control, monitoring, identity, or other security systems to support coordinated operation across institutional security environments;
• Design and configuration of automated, cross-platform emergency responses (e.g., linking locks/cameras with SMS/Alert communication tools) to ensure a unified system during an active threat;
• Training for administrators and end users, documentation development, and knowledge transfer, and;
• Ongoing maintenance, preventive and corrective support, and lifecycle services.
- Solutions:
• Access control hardware and software, including readers, credentials (card-based, mobile, biometric), locking hardware, and related components;
• Support for centralized and/or distributed access management models;
• Capability to support role-based permissions, schedules, and multi-tier lockdown (e.g., local, building-wide, and campus-wide) triggered via both software and physical/external inputs, and;
• Compatibility with commonly used institutional security platforms and standards, including support for interoperable, standards-based integration methods appropriate to enterprise security environments.
