The Vendor is required to provide for disaster logistics support system be established for activation during emergencies, disasters, special events, and related operational needs as determined by county.
- Provided services and resources include equipment, site management, unit installation, unit maintenance, deactivation and staging operations for, but not limited to, the following:
• Logistical support
o Turnkey logistical support packages with teams and equipment in tiered levels based on response need.
• Transportation - equipment and materials transfer and storage
• Forklifts
• Box trucks
• Preposition contracting
• Procurement of commodities, consumables, and equipment with available means, including cash on-hand, wire transfers, and other methods of permissible for emergency procurement.
• Turn-key base camp establishment, management and support, established within 24 hours.
o First responder base camps will be established at 50, 100, or 250 personnel with 5:1 shower ratio.
o Support personnel base camps will be established at: 100, 250, 500, and 1,000 personnel with 15:1 shower ratio.
o Site preparation
o Sleeping units (tents or trailers)
• Galley
• Refrigeration trucks
• Meal service including:
o Meals will be in accordance with department of agriculture food service specifications and be available for 24 hours.
o All base camp personnel, to include those working night shifts, must be provided three meals per day.
o At least 2 must be hot prepared meals, the third may be boxed lunches or self-prepared.
o Include an example of a rotational meal plan with its proposal.
o Appropriate dining areas with seating for 40% of the camp population 4 hand wash stations at each entry for camps up to 500, and 6 per entry for camps up to 1,000.
