The Vendor is required to provide a digital streaming entertainment service designed specifically for use in college residence halls and student living communities.
- The University is interested in solutions that offer licensed, on demand digital content that enhances the residential experience and supports community building programming.
- Provide a platform that allows students to access a curated library of digital media, including, but not limited to, feature films, educational content, documentaries, and other programming suitable for Residence Life events, passive engagement, and individual student viewing.
- The university has approximately 3,380 residential students on campus. Historically there have been 2,500 subscriptions as rooms with double occupancy only are required to purchase a single subscription.
- Requirements
• Provide all platform access, licensing, hosting, and related services necessary to deliver a reliable, user friendly streaming experience.
• The solution must operate without requiring traditional cable infrastructure, channel lineups, or IPTV headend equipment.
• The platform must support authenticated access restricted to eligible University users. Access to IPTV is preferred through campus single sign on access.

- Platform Performance & Reliability
• The system shall be designed for continuous 24/7 operation.
• Supplier must proactively monitor platform performance and resolve service issues without interruption to users whenever possible.
• Supplier shall maintain all platform components, including updates, security patches, and content delivery optimization.
