Laboratory Information Management System

The Vendor is required to provide laboratory information management system (“WINLIMS”) software.
- WINLIMS is a cloud-hosted, vendor-configured software platform used by department since 2016 that supports the operations of department division of environmental laboratory sciences (“DELS”) state environmental laboratory, located at the senator William X.
- WINLIMS software supports division staff in this mission by providing a platform that is used to assist staff with management of the custody, workflow, analyses, and reporting of scientific data for environmental samples collected by department bureaus, programs and regions.
- This software is vital to the successful day-to-day operations of department, as it allows for test results to be delivered in an electronic format to almost all department bureaus, programs and regions, and to several other state and federal agencies.
- Department intends to enter into a contract with corporation for up to five (5) years, to facilitate the continued used of this important software.
