The Vendor is required to provide digital exam assessment solution for include:
- System requirements
• The solution must meet the Americans with disabilities (ADA) compliance requirements, subject to review and confirmation by the college as a pre-requisite to contract award, including confirmation that the proposed solution meets WCAG guidelines;
• Capable of integrating with single sign-on to the university’s it framework;
• Include access to an online support and help center that covers basic troubleshooting issues without direct contractor intervention; and
• Notification feature in the event of a security breach, as well as an audit trail to indicate when users and administrators accessed the system.
- Content and functional requirements
• The solution must be capable of generating a variety of question types, including but not limited to multiple choice, hot-spot highlighting, drag and drop, drop-down selections, matching, and spreadsheet completion;
• Creating and storing test banks;
• Automatically grading and posting exams for student review;
• Integrating instructor feedback, either on specific questions or on the overall exam result, as required;
• Capable of generating analytics that are capable of interpreting individual student and student group performance, based on responses to questions.
• Analytics must be capable of interpreting whether gaps in curriculum may exist and linked to learning outcomes;
• Tagging system for questions to allow for ease of organization, and to assist in determining areas of strength or weakness in student’s understanding of material;
• Lock-out feature and block WI-FI access to ensure integrity during a student’s exam attempt.
- Support services
• Online technical services, minimally through online and chat, as well as course access assistance during business hours.
• This includes online interaction with both students and faculty regarding student access to and completion status of courses.
• No integration into learning management system (LMS) is required from the contractor.
• Identify a liaison to communicate with faculty for support related to student access, completion certificates, or technical issues.
• Directly contact the liaison to provide student lists and seek clarifications on matters such as student access, course progression, and completion details.
