- Purpose
• Solicit feedback from potential vendors with experience developing and deploying solutions that include the utilization of third-party software licenses as part of the overall solution to:
o Gain a clearer understanding of market capabilities and practices
o Identify potential contractual mechanisms to ensure the transferability of licenses and continuity in pricing
• Obtain information that may be used in developing future to solicit a vendor to provide large, complex software solutions to the department.
