Off Duty Management System

The Vendor is required to provide for the administration and management of all off-duty sheriff officer’s detail assignments on behalf of the county, including handling requests for service, scheduling assignments, invoicing, and collecting payments.
• Provide complete management and administration including requests for service from customers, scheduling, invoicing, collecting payments and securing remittances of funds for payroll.
• Customers shall be able to place requests for services through a secure online platform. Telephone assistance shall also be available.
• Officers to respond to requests for outside-duty jobs.
• Scheduling shall be in accordance with the sheriff office department policies and procedures and is subject to approval by sheriff or his designee.
• Department officers shall be given the first opportunity to respond to outside job requests by the county prior to opening it up to other police departments.
- Managerial criteria
• The system shall operate on a secure online platform that enables clients to request officers and officers to respond to requests for off-duty work.
• The system shall have the ability to interface with the sheriff department’s existing scheduling software so as to provide an efficient, integrated system that can be quickly and easily utilized by the officers.
• Provide samples, or screen shots of the user interface for both the county and client side.
• Feature a calendar that can be imported to a pc or mobile device to remind officers of upcoming details.
• Include samples or screenshots of this module.
• Be able to clock in and out of the detail using the system.
• The capability to assign off-duty details based on sheriff department protocol.
• Shall not schedule officers to work details that conflict with department rules and regulations.
• Report hours worked by each officer to the department at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled pay date to ensure timely payments to the officers.
