The Vendor is required to provide access control hardware, software, and integration services for include:
1. Access control hardware
• Compatible door controllers
• Proprietary card and door readers matching department credential formats
• Access control panels and power supplies compatible with existing infrastructure
• Turnstiles and gating mechanisms specified by department
• Replacement components for end-of-life or failed equipment
• Hardware must integrate seamlessly with department currently deployed environment
• All components must be new, manufacturer-certified, and not refurbished
2. Access control software and firmware
• Software modules and configuration utilities
• Firmware versions compatible with department deployed systems
• Licensing must reflect department user counts and statewide facility usage
• Software must support required integrations with dispatch centers, highway patrol posts, and administrative facilities
• All necessary documentation and release notes
3. Integration components
• Certified integration modules for controllers, readers, and panels
• Tools required for system configuration, diagnostics, and maintenance
• Middleware or interface utilities needed for interoperability with department networks
• Integration elements must support uninterrupted operation during expansions, renovations, or modifications.
