Student Attendance and Tardy Management Solution

The Vendor is required to provide turnkey student attendance and tardy management solution including software licensing, implementation, configuration, training, and ongoing support.
- Required features
1. Attendance management
• Provide consistent attendance policy enforcement across schools.
• Automatically calculate attendance status based on configurable time-based rules.
• Support automatic assignment of:
o Present
o Tardy
o Absent
• Allow attendance rules to be configured based on bell schedules, periods, alternative class locations (advisory/homeroom) and district requirements.
2. Student check-in kiosks
• Provide kiosk functionality accessible through a standard web browser.
• Operate on devices capable of running modern web browsers, including chrome.
• Allow students to check in within seconds to minimize classroom disruptions.
• Support multiple kiosk locations throughout the district.
3. Skyward qmlativ integration
• Integrate with skyward qmlativ student information system.
• Synchronize attendance records between systems.
• Automatically update tardy and absence codes.
• Minimize duplicate data entry by district staff.
4. Virtual attendance
• Provide a virtual kiosk option for remote attendance.
• Allow authorized students to check in remotely when approved by district administration.
• Apply the same attendance rules used for on-campus attendance.
5. Attendance slips
• Generate tardy and absence slips that can be printed or emailed a slip for the student.
• Allow slip templates to be customized by school or entity.
• Include configurable information such as:
o Student name
o Student id
o Check-in time
o Check-in location
o Destination classroom or office
o Attendance status
• Support standard printing devices.
6. Reporting
• Provide attendance and tardy reporting capabilities.
• Allow users to generate attendance reports by:
o Student
o School
o Grade
o Date range
o Attendance status
o Check-in location
• Export reports to common formats including PDF, Excel, and CSV.
