Intelligent Transportation System Device Maintenance

The Vendor is required to provide for existing Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) devices and single installations of new ITS devices and fiber infrastructure.
- Shall have sufficient resources to underwrite the cost of any given repair or installation and will be responsible for all consumable supplies necessary for the type of work being provided.
- This work includes but is not limited to tasks such as equipment, electronic and electrical component replacement; troubleshooting camera and telecommunication equipment; emergency repairs and installation of fiber optic and twisted pair cable; verification of communication system operability and power; configuration, replacement and installation of communication equipment; troubleshooting, repair, replacement and installation of electronic and electrical components related to power, communication, and operation of ITS systems; voltage checks; repair of equipment; underground conduit repair and replacement; locating power and communication cables; repair and replacement of power and communications cable; re-erecting knocked down cabinets and poles; relocation/installation of new field devices and all incidental items necessary to complete the items of work.
- Repair work may include equipment and equipment component replacement; emergency repairs of fiber optic and twisted pair cable; verification of communication system integrity; voltage checks; repair of equipment; underground conduit repair and replacement; repair and replacement of power and communications cable; re-erecting knocked down cabinets, poles, signs, and any other work necessary to return devices to working condition.
- There may be some preventative maintenance tasks needed more frequently, for example camera cleaning and portable trailer battery maintenance.
- Shall be responsible for all Controller cabinets and internal component assemblies, connectors and terminators, communication/power cables, cable management, equipment necessary to move the populated field cabinet, bolts and washers.
