The Vendor is required to provide for enterprise job scheduler software.
- University requires enterprise job scheduler software that is an approved Ellucian Banner partner and is either Automic AppWorx, an AppWorx reseller, or offers a fast-transition model for converting existing AppWorx job scheduling application setup, security, users, jobs, and job chains.
- Solution must support execution and scheduling of pro*c, Java, and bash scripts; database-link parameter integration; a distributed application security model; and compatibility with Ellucian Banner application security
- Product must:
• Be a solution that runs in Linux;
• Provide at least two agents and Banner agent integration. Specifically, 2 (two) Automic Applications Manager for Banner Linux Agents, 1 (one) Automic Applications Manager for Banner Linux Master, and 1 (one) Automic Applications Manager for Banner GAP;
• Provide a licensing model that supports both production and test environments;
• Support pro*c, Java, and bash script execution;
• Accommodate approximately 1,000 users;
• Support approximately 2,000 jobs and thousands of job executions per day;
• Support direct job scheduling, job chains, and intelligent recovery. Must support a wide variety of job types from pro*c executables, Java, bash, and other scripts, and provide audit logging with a distributed security or job-submitter security model;
• Conform to W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA and Section 508 (2018 Revision) standards; and
• Comply with student privacy regulations as specified within the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) rules and regulations.
- A distributed application security model and integration with Ellucian Banner application security.
