The Vendor is required to provide the upgraded system requires an on-premises Enterprise Video Management System (VMS), and scalable on-premises storage infrastructure that is expandable to accommodate future incremental camera growth.
- The existing Video Management System is currently comprised of approximately 400 IP cameras, and on-premises server infrastructure that cover the single building that houses the approximately 500,000 square feet of Detention Center and Administration functions of the County Office.
- Center security camera infrastructure, including replacement of end-of-life cameras, server and software upgrades, and implementation of high-availability (HA) server and software architecture to ensure continuous video recording and surveillance at all times.
- Replace aging or unsupported camera hardware.
- Implement an on-premises, fault-tolerant, high-availability camera and recording system infrastructure, ensuring no video recording downtime during maintenance and server failure.
- Meet or exceed 60-day data retention requirements for all active cameras.
- Deploy scalable infrastructure capable of supporting expansion for future camera growth.
- Configure and optimize the new software and server environments.
- Install and configure the new software to agency interface.
- Provide annual VMS license and support agreement for the software that includes:
• Base VMS Server/System License(s)
• Camera (device) License(s)
• Additional Feature License(s)
• Annual Maintenance Support Agreement
• 24/7 Emergency Software Support
• Software upgrade/updates
- Provide annual hardware maintenance support agreement that includes:
• 24/7 Emergency hardware support
• Failed server hardware replacement SLA – 4hour response
- Optionally, extend secure surveillance to five (5) offsite locations, each with up to four (4) cameras and local recording capability.
- System Design, Installation, and Configuration
• Provide preliminary system design for evaluation that meets the following requirements:
• On-premises server and storage infrastructure to support a minimum of 391 cameras
• High-Availability design for zero camera downtime
• 60-day data retention at no less than 1920/1080 resolution and 30 fps frame rate for all cameras.
• Website integration for archival of video evidence.
• Install and configure a fully high-available solution, including all recording servers, management servers, and failover servers for High Availability (HA) that ensures zero recording loss or downtime.
• Configure Audit Log for system access and change tracking with minimum of 60-day retention.
• Configure recording settings to achieve 60-day retention at no less than 1920/1080 resolution and 30 fps frame rate.
• Integrate all cameras into the VMS with live monitoring, playback, and alarm management.
• Install and configure the software provided to Website interface.
• Deploy all cameras with current firmware.
• Optimize VMS View Groups and camera viewing layouts for logical camera organization.
