The Vendor is required to provide Americans with disabilities act (ADA) document remediation services.
- Services and software products that will streamline the Department’s ongoing efforts to remediate materials and content to ensure compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) version 2.1 Level AA (hereinafter referred to as “WCAG 2.1”).
- The solution should be secure and comply with industry standards and regulations. Document formats and content requiring remediation include: PDFs, scanned pages, fillable forms, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, complex alt text, and website content.
- Types of digital assets your company can remediate. Examples:
• PDFs
• Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier)
• Images (e.g., simple, complex)
• Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Internet-facing SharePoint web content (websites)
• Microsoft .NET applications
• Multimedia content (platform examples: YouTube videos, MP4s, Articulate, Canva)
• Mobile application content (e.g., FL Tax Verify)
• Social media content (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube)
• GIS files.
