The Vendor is required to provide building automation system (BAS) to reduce long-term operational and lifecycle costs, eliminate proprietary dependencies, and enable seamless integration using industry-standard communication protocols.
- Objectives
• Achieve seamless integration of disparate building systems without reliance on proprietary hardware, firmware, or software.
• Enable future system expansion and third-party integrations using industry-standard protocols.
• Promote energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and operational transparency through open access to system data.
• Deploy a solution inclusive of monitoring, maintenance, patching, and software upgrades.
• Select a vendor capable of providing 24/7 tier 1 support, including remote diagnostics and remediation prior to engaging authority personnel.
• Explicitly exclude proprietary technologies that limit interoperability, competition, or long-term system flexibility.
• Implement a niagara 4 platform
• Implement niagara cloud suite
• Complete replacement of all continuum supervisory controllers
• Migration of all graphics
• Bacnet-native architecture
• Cybersecurity compliance (see cyber security insurance requirements)
• Solution must be soc2 compliant
• Phased replacement of infinet controllers
• Retention of existing field wiring where possible.
