The Vendor is required to provide energy management software for include:
- System implementation and integration
• All labor, materials, tools, equipment, documentation, and any components necessary to deliver a fully functional energy management software (EMS) platform capable of centralizing all municipal utility accounts across electricity, water, and natural gas.
• Initial administrator and end-user training, training materials, and ongoing support documentation at implementation.
• Responsible for integrating the platform with the city’s utility providers’ billing and metering systems, to enable:
• Automated data ingestion
• Updated consumption monitoring
• Access to historical usage and billing data
• Provide secure APIs or other integration methods to support system connections
• Responsible for creating an interface that will ensure compatibility and data exchange with existing city infrastructure, including:
• Solar photovoltaic (PV) systems
• Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations
- Monitoring and alerting
• Most updated monitoring of energy and water consumption across all city facilities
• Automated alerts for:
• Overconsumption
• Abnormal usage patterns
• Potential leaks, equipment failures, or operational inefficiencies
• Graphical dashboards that display:
• Consumption trends
• Cost analysis
• Facility comparisons
• Forecasting tools that use historical data and predictive analytics to support budgeting planning.
- Service calls
• Technical support Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm EST.
• Provide emergency technical support for critical system outages or failures outside normal business hours.
- Schedule of services
• Implementation is a one-time activity (system setup, integration, onboarding)
• Monitoring and alerting is ongoing/continuous.
