Campus Calendar Software

The Vendor is required to provide campus calendar software for event management approach, reduce administrative burden, improve engagement for students and the community, and create a more consistent experience across all four campuses.
- Core purpose and functionality
• Serve as the single, authoritative public hub for all campus events.
• Display events for all four campuses
• Accurately show academic dates, governance meetings, student events, arts events, athletics events, and external events
- Multi source data integration
• The calendar must accept event data from multiple systems.
• Help define criteria for determining which data and components will be migrated from existing platforms.
• The integration could include one or more of the following:
• Event reservation system
• Momentus
• Raiser’s edge (advancement/alumni)
• Sidearm sports (athletics)
• Presence (student organizations)
• Blackthorn integrates with salesforce (continuing education)
• UREC
• Intranet
• External or manual entry when needed
• Ensure API availability to facilitate integration with external systems, including the cofrin-technology and education center (CTEC) video wall
• Enable integration with ems utilizing the ems soap and rest API, leveraging its robust functionality
• Evaluate any associated costs related to ems soap and rest API usage
• API/connector support
• Ability to import structured feeds
• Avoid duplicate listings by defining a source of truth for each event type
• Support multi source scheduling without conflict.
- User experience and accessibility
• Support single sign-on (SSO) integration to allow users to access the campus wide calendar using their institutional credentials
• Mobile-friendly and fully WCAG accessible.
• Easy for occasional or nontechnical users to enter events.
• Support clearly readable, public facing listings for high traffic users (arts patrons, athletics audiences, alumni, community).
• Strong training, demos, and documentation.
• Full compliance with title ii accessibility standards and is inclusive for all users.
