- System shall support the City’s objectives for reliability, scalability, cybersecurity, operational efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
- The System will be considered available for use only when each of the following conditions is met:
a. Installed hardware and software have power applied and are operating correctly based on manufacturer specifications.
b. All functions necessary for creating, editing or searching for a record maintained by the Systems are operating correctly.
- System availability will be expressed as a percentage of the maximum expected availability over a given period. The System must be available seven days per week, 24 hours per day.
- Mobile system must be complementary to both the CAD and RMS applications ensuring seamless workflows from dispatch receipt through incident closure (including report writing). The Mobile solution must be configurable to meet the operational needs of both law enforcement and fire services, providing integrated mapping and AVL functionality. The Mobile application should be compatible with MS Windows, iOS and Android devices and operating systems
- A Report Writing application that allows field users to complete reports in a mobile environment and submit those reports electronically to the RMS via a Department-specified report approval process. The application should provide for the pre-population of report forms via integration with the Mobile application. Additionally, the system should support unique workflow requirements as dictated by the Departments.
Proposals for SYS-6764 are due by November 12, 2026.
