Providing a fully realized, off-the-shelf a Faculty Information System (FIS) for faculty activity reporting; faculty lifecycle management and reporting; and faculty action workflows, including annual reviews; the creation of electronic dossiers for the review, promotion, and tenure; leave requests; emeriti requests, etc.
- The vendor, with demonstrated higher education experience and higher education devoted platforms and services, will need to provide all personnel and labor, materials, suppliers, equipment, etc. and all services related to creating, storing, securely sharing, submitting, and reviewing/electronic approvals.
- Must have ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) that allows for integration of multiple functions into one system to streamline processes and information from across the organization.
1. [I] Integrate with Workday to manage faculty academic appointment data (school/college, appointment status, appointment title, appointment term, etc.) and sync/import specific reportable employment-related profile data (race/ethnicity, gender, faculty rank, email)
2. [D] Integrate with Workday to generate/enable/disable user profiles based on job type and employment status.
3. [D] Work with industry standard integration management and ETL tools such as CourseLeaf, etc.
4. [I] Allow for integration through standard secure methods such as SFTP, APIs, Web services, etc.
5. [O] Import and facilitate maintenance of faculty contract awards and faculty grants data from sponsored funding databases, including identification of PIs and Co-PIs at both the proposal and award stages.
