Public Safety Software for Computer Aided Dispatch, Law Mobile, Field Reporting, Law Enforcement Records Management, and Jail Management Systems for the office.
- Public safety software for the agency. Services shall include the full implementation and acceptance of the following systems:
• CAD: Used by dispatch personnel to create calls for service
• Law Mobile: Field solution used by patrol
• Field Reporting: Field reporting applications used by deputies and investigators
• LERMS: Law Enforcement Records Management System
• JMS: Jail Management System for detention operations
- Objectives
• To replace the legacy system(s) currently in use with modern, integrated solutions
• Conversion and migration of existing records into new system(s) with data integrity validation
• Enhanced data sharing, reporting, and collaboration with other law enforcement agencies in the region, including the Louisiana State Police and regional task forces
• The new technology should decrease officer time on administrative tasks and simplify processes and workflows
• To improve agency operations, the solutions should seamlessly integrate different modules within the CAD, Law Mobile, Field Reporting, LERMS, and JMS solutions
• The programs should be user-friendly, intuitive, and designed with law enforcement, dispatch, and detention staff members' needs in mind
• Address current operational challenges and offer more efficient workflows
• Accurate data entry, retrieval, and reporting should be guaranteed by the replacement system
• For information to be shared effectively between agencies and in mobile environments, accessibility and reliability are essential
• state reporting requirements, FBI/federal reporting standards, and industry best practices must all be met by the new programs
• Accurate incident reporting, case management, analytics, and audit trails should be facilitated by the applications
• The system must be scalable to meet future demands, growth, and technological advancements
• Cybersecurity and data protection must meet or exceed Louisiana state requirements and industry
standards
