The vendor is required to provide third party claims administrative services to handle workers’ compensation claims for state agencies through the risk management department’s workers’ compensation plan with two separate programs
- Reducing claim severity, medical spend, legal spend and overall claim costs through proactive and effective medical and case management.
- Establishment of a true partnership through transparency and effective, responsive communication.
- Obtaining the highest quality service possible for state local operations and injured employees.
- Selecting a Bidder with a proven program implementation process and an experienced implementation manager who can oversee a seamless, successful onboarding of the program.
- Account Management Fees
i. Conducts superior account management, oversight and problem solving
ii. Coordinates annual stewardship meeting and related reporting
iii. Arranges & participates in all claim reviews
iv. Addresses and resolves all account service issues
v. It is expected that the Account Manager be familiar with handling public entities, structure, data and provide analytics with proactive recommendations to mitigate exposures.
