RFP Description

The Vendor is required to provide Insurance Risk Management Advisory and Insurance Broker Services for agency insurance program.
- All aspects of the agency insurance program, including, but not limited to providing all forms of insurance; analysis of limits of insurance and structure of limits; recommendations for deductibles, self-insurance, and coinsurance amounts; identification of gaps in coverage, emerging forms of insurance, and trends in the insurance market; preparation and review of insurance applications; coordination of meetings with insurance carriers; and claims management.
- Services include:
•    Conduct an annual comprehensive assessment of insurance requirements and present findings in written form to agency management, including a summary schedule of all forms of insurance, insurance limits, self-insured retentions and any recommended changes to the insurance program.
•    Coordinate assembling necessary information to obtain quotes for various forms of insurance, interacting with staff at agency as directed.
•    Facilitate and expedite endorsement requests in a timely fashion.
•    Facilitate and expedite additional insured requests, certificates of insurance, automobile identification cards and other documentation in a timely fashion.
•    Facilitate change request forms.
•    Continually perform comprehensive risk management analysis.
•    Negotiate favorable coverage and insurance program structures, utilizing multiple carriers and specialty markets as needed to provide the optimal value proposition to agency in terms of coverage per premium dollar. Provide a recommendation and assessment with a comparative analysis of insurance carriers and coverage with special attention to favorable language, restrictive language, enhancements and unique carrier expertise and services.
•    Provide benchmarking data and recommendations to support agency management in decision-making with respect to forms of insurance, appropriateness of limits and terms and conditions for several forms of insurance and premium options.
•    Proactively recommend evidence-based best practice strategies for managing and mitigating risk and, as requested, assist in implementing those strategies. 
•    Evaluate insurance companies’ fiscal stability and ratings, claims processing, reporting and other relevant documentation and providing documentation to agency management for a change in carriers.
•    Process, track and advocate for appropriate claims payments on behalf of agency .
•    As requested, review and provide recommendations to management with respect to insurance and risk management provisions in various vendor/contractor agreements including review of insurance certificates.
•    Review carrier audits for errors and omissions and work with carrier to correct any issues identified.
