Medical, Pharmacy, COBRA, Dental, FSA, and Retiree Billing Administration Services

The Vendor is required to provide for medical, pharmacy, COBRA, dental, FSA, and retiree billing administration services
- Services may include, but are not limited to, the following:
•    Claims Processing: Handling the receipt, review, adjudication, and payment of health insurance claims.
•    Eligibility and Enrollment Management: Maintaining records of plan members and managing the enrollment process, including adding new members and removing those no longer eligible.
•    Customer Service: Providing support to plan members through call centers, online chat, or other means to answer questions about benefits, claims, and other plan-related issues.
•    Network Management: Establishing and maintaining provider networks, negotiating rates with healthcare providers, and ensuring access to a wide range of medical services.
•    Reporting and Analytics: Generating regular reports on plan utilization, costs, and other key metrics to help the employer understand and manage their health plan.
•    Compliance and Regulatory Support: Ensuring the plan adheres to applicable laws and regulations, such as ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA, and providing necessary documentation and filings.
•    Utilization Review and Management: Monitoring the use of healthcare services to ensure they are appropriate and necessary, often involving pre-certification and case management services.
•    Wellness and Health Management Programs: Offering initiatives aimed at improving the health of plan members, such as wellness programs, disease management, and preventive care services.
•    Stop-Loss Insurance Coordination: Managing stop-loss insurance policies that protect the employer from catastrophic claims by covering costs that exceed a certain threshold.
•    Billing and Premium Collection: Handling the billing of premiums and collection of payments from plan members and the employer.
•    Communication Services: Providing materials and resources to educate plan members about their benefits, including summary plan descriptions, newsletters, and online resources.
