Vision Network and Administration Services

The Vendor is required to provide and highly qualified insurance companies for the provision of self-funded vision insurance
- Provides a wide range of services that includes law enforcement and public safety, planning and zoning, parks and open space, highways and streets, culture and recreation, public health and human services, elections, and general administrative services.
- The commissioners are elected at large from one of three geographical districts and serve staggered four-year terms (term-limited to two terms).
- The County is interested in maintaining these benefits as part of their comprehensive benefits package. The plans are currently insured with VSP Vision on a zero-commission basis.
- There are currently ca. 1,626 benefit eligible employees.
- Open enrollment is held each year in October for changes effective January 1st of the following plan year.
