The Vendor is required to provide the option to renew annually dependent on the prior-year’s performance and upon mutual agreement by both parties. Should there be a request for a rate increase for any year, the increase will have to be justified by appropriate documentation, and be approved by the City.
- Services include:
• Medical (administrative service only agreements)
• Dental (administrative service only agreements)
• Vision (administrative service only agreements)
• Cobra administration to include Retiree Billing
• Flexible Spending Account Administration (Medical & Dependent Care)
- Provides a comprehensive benefits package for all of its regular employees who work at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week after 30 days of employment. The current benefits package consists of three self-funded medical plan options, prescription, dental and vision coverage.
- The City’s medical plans consist of an Integris ACO plan, an in network only PPO plan, and a third PPO which offers both in and out of network coverage.
- The medical administration is currently through Aetna.
- The City’s dental plans are self-funded and are administered by state. The City offers two benefit plans to employees and pre-65 retirees.
- The City’s vision plan is self-funded and administered through VSP. The Vision plan is offered to employees and pre65 retirees.
