The Vendor is required to provide emergency medical and ambulance transport billing services contractor to identify, pursue, and attempt to collect from identified insurance companies all applicable insurance coverage for the cost of emergency medical services and ambulance transport services provided by the county of emergency management emergency medical services (hereinafter called (MCEMS).
- The county will not bill or collect (beyond insurance) any out-of-pocket expenses for any emergency medical services (EMS) response in county.
- The county will however fully bill and collect all applicable fees for emergency medical services (EMS) services rendered outside of county with the exception which will be considered “in-county”.
- The ability to interface with the agency's electronic patient care reporting software.
- The county currently utilizes the EMS charts patient care reporting system.
