Third-Party Administration Services

The Vendor is required to provide third-party administration services for include:
• Respondent must have experience administering family medical leave act (FMLA) and other related leave management services for at least ten (10) different large business employers and governmental entities.
• "Large" is defined as businesses or entities with five hundred (500) or more active users.
• Provide two (2) active clients who are provided FMLA and other related leave administration services by the respondent (include contact names, addresses, phone numbers, number of years served, the number of employees the contract managed and similarities to the county and three (3) former clients as references for whom the firm has performed or provided similar services and volume as those included.
• Provide a timely and efficient means for county employees to report FMLA claims.
• Include a customer service center, call center, and help desk.
- Provide the following services: which may include but not limited to:
• Intake.
• Claim administration (eligibility, claim management, claim processing, intermittent leave, recertification, handling, escalation, communication, tracking, return to work, compliance)
• The capability to administer workability and independent medical evaluations and a release to return to work, as appropriate.
• Provide county human resource staff access to its data in order to track FMLA leave and non FMLA leave.
• Tracking shall include, but not be limited to: absences, recertification, continuous, and intermittent leave.
• Track FMLA leave concurrently with disability claims.
• Account management and customer services.
• Training.
• Implementation and transition services.
• Records management.
• Complete documentation for each FMLA claim including documentation of communication with employees.
• Documentation and reports.
• Assist with county in preparing for administrative hearings.
