Ambulance Transport Billing and Collection Service

The Vendor is required ongoing and as-needed ambulance transport billing and collection services for the county fire rescue department. Services shall include, but are not limited to, a fully comprehensive and automated billing system, training, and technical and administrative support to county.
- Support for the day-to-day operations, functions, and activities of the operational and management staff of county in the use, analysis, and maintenance of patient accounts, including billing for services to the patient, responsible party and/or insurance provider.
- Transports patients from incident scenes to hospital emergency rooms or from medical facility to medical facility, in certified advanced life support ambulances.
- Patients are charged a base rate, mileage fee, and an oxygen or nitrous oxide fee, if administered. The base rate covers all medical services except oxygen/nitrous administration.
