• Workers’ Compensation claims handling in accordance with the Texas Labor Code and Division of Workers’ Compensation regulations and generally accepted and prudent insurance industry claims practices and regulated by the Department of Insurance.
• Medical Bill Auditing for facility, non-facility and ancillary service charges.
• A Healthcare Network certified by the Texas Department of Insurance Managed Care services i.e. Prescription Benefit, Utilization Review, Retrospective, Concurrent, Prospective; Peer/RME Review; Medical and Vocational Case Management and Medical Dispute Resolution services.
• Pre-authorization mandatory and voluntary.
• Impairment rating analysis.
• DWC Austin Representation for Benefit Review Conference, Contested Case Hearing, Request for Appeal, and Judicial Review representation.
• Private Investigation Services.
• Transitional and technology support services to the District for the seamless migration from its internally maintained legacy claims system (i.e., Lotus Notes), to a TPA-supported claims management system.
Proposals for TPA-0736 are due by October 22, 2026.
