Transportation Planning Consulting Services

The Vendor is required to provide transportation planning consultant(s) will support and advise the aviation authority on transportation planning services, preliminary design needs and related professional services.
- The services include, but are not limited to: conducting on-airport roadway traffic counts, multimodal transportation facility planning, developing airport passenger surface access related and ground transportation analyses, concept development and refinement, supporting the development of the aviation authority's existing and future facilities; assisting with strategic development planning, planning analysis of roadway opportunities and constraints, wayfinding and signage, and other miscellaneous landside and airside transportation projects.

•    Airport master plan and airport layout plan support

•    Feasibility studies
•    Evaluation and documentation of existing conditions
•    Assessment studies
•    Multimodal transportation facility planning (including rail and bus)
•    Roadway traffic counts
•    Traffic studies
•    Traffic modeling
•    Capital improvement plan (CIP) support
•    Airport passenger surface access-related analyses
•    Operational and security studies
•    Future technology assessments and evaluations (autonomous vehicles, advanced air mobility, etc.)
•    Site planning and facility space program development
•    Facility demand capacity analysis
•    Grading and paving plans
•    Wayfinding and signage plan development
•    Construction feasibility assessment and phasing plan development
•    Airline and airport support facilities planning
•    Curbside planning, including roadway and ground transportation functions
•    Airline relocation and new entrant facilities planning
•    Passenger conveyance and circulation planning, including automated transit systems
•    Technical support in responding to stakeholder questions and project proposals regarding airport facilities and operations
•    Planning analysis of roadway opportunities and constraints
•    Geospatial, digital twin and GIS support
•    General transportation planning support
•    Other studies and analysis for the development, management and operation of existing and future authority facilities
3. Preliminary engineering and advanced planning
•    Geometric design concepts (up to 15%)
•    Preliminary environmental impact analysis
•    Surveys and geotechnical
•    Infrastructure planning, including site preparation and construction phasing, capacity and routing of utilities onsite and off-site
•    Utility investigations
•    Horizontal permitting review services
•    Technical support and review of documents prepared by others
•    Cost estimating.
