Offender Communications Services

The Vendor is required to provide a turn-key video visitation system (VVS) which shall include, without limitation, automated scheduling software and completion of remote video visitation sessions.
- Provide a correctional-grade mobile device/tablet solution (Tablets) that shall allow offenders access to various pre-approved applications including electronic messaging, education, instructional material, entertainment, media, offender requests, medical requests, grievances and commissary ordering.
- Provide an electronic trust account deposit application that allows approved end-users to make deposits into an offender’s trust account while providing reporting, visibility, and accessibility to division and its authorized staff.
- Provide a debit release card program wherein offender trust account balances are transferred to debit release cards for released offenders.
- The capability to search and query end-user pre-paid account information for investigative purposes to the extent Contractor is legally allowed to provide certain information.
- The reverse look-up feature shall include, at a minimum, the end-user’s name and billing address for all direct-billed and pre-paid calls;
- Utilize a fraud prevention feature that can interject pre-recorded announcements, at any time during the conversation, informing the parties that the call is from a correctional facility, extra digits were identified, the parties have been silent, etc.

- Contract Period/Term: 1 year
