The vendor is required to provide XR for VR external evaluator program.
- XR for VR will use extended reality to bridge the career awareness gap by increasing awareness among individuals with disabilities about available high-wage career opportunities in the manufacturing industry and educating advanced manufacturing employers about the disability community as an untapped pool of capable employees who are eager to work
- Seven objectives have been identified to accomplish this:
1. Engage members of the manufacturing ecosystem, youth and adults with disabilities, service professionals, and educators in the developing, testing, and spreading the resulting advanced technology solutions.
2. Develop and launch the XR to VR pilot program at College to support individuals (youth and adults) with disabilities across state to access Competitive Integrated Employment.
3. Incorporate personalized advanced technology into project participants' activities of daily living, education, training, and employment.
4. Identify, develop, and implement training project participants, service professionals, educators, and employers in advanced technology.
5. Utilize innovative and promising strategies, including virtual platforms that can support connection and collaboration between diverse stakeholders to support project participants in obtaining Competitive Integrated Employment.
6. Develop an evaluation strategy to ensure programmatic and technological adaptation, distribution, and replication.
7. Support widespread adaptation and replication.
- Required to provide the following to achieve the objective of this project:
• Collaboratively develop, refine, and implement a comprehensive project evaluation plan with annual performance measures.
• Conduct qualitative interviews, focus groups, and content review of marketing campaign activities to create retrospective comparisons of employment outcomes.
• Provide quarterly progress reports and briefings in years one through five.
• Provide annual formative reports in years one through five and a final report to the department of education at the end of the evaluation period.
• Work closely with the project director for continuous improvement and to identify and recommend modifications or adjustments.
• Manage confidential data collection and analysis from various reporting systems. - The contractor will take appropriate measures to ensure the safety of its employees, state employees, the public, and property.
- The contractor must identify any potential risks, issues and problems associated with the project and identify ways to mitigate those potential risks.
- The Budget for College XR for VR is $60,000 per year for 5 years for a total of $300000.
