The Vendor is required to provide to design, build, and finance, operate, and maintain a data center (the “project”) on its state campus.
- Pre-Development
• Secure required approvals and entitlements including necessary agreements with utility providers
• Perform site and infrastructure analysis required to confirm project feasibility including a detailed load study or site surveys to verify site perimeter lines, soil conditions, existing utilities, etc.
• Deliver a comprehensive business plan including detail regarding the anticipated project team, funding sources, project schedule, and plan for securing tenants for the data center.
• Proposed deal structure - development of potential deal structures and detail regarding the financial benefit of each to university for the project
• Project definition – development of specific concepts, designs, and requirements for the project, established collaboratively with the university
• Presentations and engagement with university community, decision makers, and stakeholders
- Development
• Design, construction, and financing of the project, including necessary on-site infrastructure and supporting systems essential to its operation. ]
• All work must adhere to the university design guidelines, which will be provided to the selected project team.
- Operations
• Marketing, tenanting, and leasing of the spaces within the project
• Operation and maintenance of the developments and infrastructure within the project
• Ongoing coordination and cooperation with university.
- Contract Period/Term: 3 years
