The vendor is required to provide art consultation, sales, and acquisition services that will update the agency art collection within a framework of fiscal responsibility, a focus on strategic goals, and movement towards a more defined acquisition and de-acquisition process.

• Identifying and sourcing artworks based on client preferences
• Evaluating and documenting provenance, authenticity, and market value
• Providing market insights and investment guidance
• Advising on collection management and curation
• Researching cultural and indigenous art pieces and markets
2. Acquisition and sales support
• Identifying sales options for agency that retain as much value as possible for artwork during the sales process (including online sales to eliminate transport costs, or making removal and transport as part of the reserve pricing, etc.)
• Providing artist and gallery liaison
o Including with local tribes and community groups that reflect the local libraries
o Experience with direct community outreach and co-creating an art collection with community input
• Coordinating logistics (shipping, insurance, installation and de-installation)
• Negotiating purchase or sale terms with galleries, collectors, or auction houses

- Reports, presentations, final outputs
• Due diligence reports (provenance, condition, authenticity)
• Transaction documentation (bills of sale, certificates)
