The vendor is required to provide integrated placemaking planning and design assistance in community planning, design, hand drawing architectural and landscaping sketches or alternative design format, and meeting facilitation.
- The following specific tasks:
• Participate in 6 to 8 downtown assessments visits per year in communities across state.
• Downtown assessments average 2.5 days in length.
• Consultant will need to be available for the following:
o May 27-28, 2026
o June 16-18, 2026
o June 23-25, 2026
o July 7-9, 2026
o September 2-4, 2026
o October 13-15, 2026
• Tasks include:
o Reading and reviewing pre-visit materials sent by host community prior to visit
o Preparing any related community maps and aerials, if needed, to support the drawing and community visualization process
o Participating in all elements of on-site visit
o Assisting in interviews. asking questions to identify and develop list of community strengths, challenges, and recommendations
o Assisting in preparing and delivering public presentation on final day of visit, including power point presentation
o Completing consultant’s portion of the final assessment report including drawings and narrative.
