Video Storage Solution

The vendor required to provide video storage solution to centralize video storage into a scalable system supporting the next several years of growth.
- The system must support current workflows in which team members share, access, and edit files both in-office (via fiber) and remotely (via VPN). 
- The initial required capacity is 64tb with the ability to scale up to approximately 200tb.
- Objectives
•    Equal or faster access speed than the current system (or minimal slowdown) --the speed is 10 GB ethernet
•    Scalable storage expansion
•    Reliable remote access
•    Collaborative workflows- ability to share files with parties outside of the institution
•    Asset tagging and metadata
•    Robust, easy-access backups and content integrity
- The system must support:
•    Fiber-connected local access
•    VPN-enabled remote access
•    10gb ethernet is the current minimum. 
•    Fiber and 25 GBE are the higher options
•    Collaborative editing
•    Proxy workflows
•    AI and meta data tagging search or transcription
•    Versioning
•    Migration services must be included for 32tb of existing assets.
