The Vendor is required to provide price and cost analysis and estimation services on an on-call basis.
- Requirement:
• Perform a full range of detailed price and cost analyses of cost elements and overhead rates to assist in ensuring fair, reasonable, and realistic prices for foothill transit contracts.
• Analyze potential contract billing rates and cost proposals for reasonableness, realism, allowability, and allocability of costs.
• Review in detail significant direct and indirect cost elements.
• Analyze data and supplier price to determine and document fair, reasonable, and realistic pricing as well as compliance with applicable pricing regulations.
• Conduct fact-finding as needed to review bases for estimates and source documentation verifying proposed cost estimates.
• Review technical analyses and audit reports to assist in the evaluation of price and cost reasonableness and realism.
• Utilize industry techniques and practices to establish fair and reasonable pricing positions and ranges.
• Provide independent cost estimates, price analyses, and cost analyses; analyze the cost impact of contract change orders, amendments and execution of options.
• Review contractor requested contract modifications.
• Perform other related tasks as appropriate.
