Forklift and Mobile Elevated Work Platform Operator

The Vendor is required to provide forklift and mobile elevated work platform operator (MEWP) training course on an as and when requested basis to groups of offenders at federal institutions and at community industries in the region to enable them to obtain third-party certification.
- Requirement:
•    Must be able to manage a class of 12 students teaching individuals with multiple barriers.
•    Multiple barriers are defined as: offenders, persons with disabilities, chemical dependent, person with special needs, persons with mental health needs, indigenous, ethnic groups, at risk populations, persons in conflict with the law.
•    Forklift operator training in accordance with the recognized standards of the association b335-15 – safety standard for lift trucks.
•    Provide mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) operator training, that meets the requirements of the association b354 – safety standard for mobile elevated work platforms;
•    A two (2) day forklift operator training program and a one (1) day mobile elevated work platform (MEWP) operator training program.
