The Vendor is required to provide a 10-week workforce development program for 30 participants.
- The program is designed to prepare participants for sustainable employment through a combination of career readiness, skill development, and personal growth, supported by stipends and wraparound services.
- Objectives
• Equip participants with workforce-ready skills
• Provide exposure to career pathways, including trade and skill-based opportunities
• Support personal development and long-term stability
• Reduce barriers to participation through stipends and supportive services
• Prepare participants for employment and continued career advancement
- The program includes but not limited to
• Implement a structured 10-week curriculum
• Facilitate weekly training sessions
• Provide career readiness (resume development, interview skills, job search strategies)
• Provide Soft skills training (communication, professionalism, time management)
• Provide Personal development (goal setting, financial literacy, life skills)
• Provide mentoring
• Legal assistance
• Parenting support and education
• OSHA 10 certification
• Provide Skill Trades training Carpentry, electrical training, etc.
• Job placement assistance
• Aid in sustaining employment, career growth and navigation
• Provide wraparound support services and case management
- Participant Recruitment and Engagement
• Will be responsible for 50% of program recruitment
• Will leverage established presence and trusted relationships within the community to support participant recruitment
• Will utilize current city resident through existing cohort to participate in the training
• Serve as a key point of contact for outreach, engagement, and enrollment activities
• Coordinate with the City to ensure recruitment targets are met
- Participant Management
• Conduct participant orientation
• Track attendance, participation, and engagement
• Implement retention strategies to support completion
• Provide reports and data showing outcomes and stipends compliance
- Stipend Administration
• Administer participant stipends at a rate of $10/hour
• Ensure stipends are distributed based on attendance and participation
• Maintain accurate documentation for stipend eligibility and disbursement.
