Industry and Workforce Support Services

Vendors to provide Industry and Workforce Support Services that strengthen strategic industry engagement, field-based employer outreach, employer operations support, and integrated workforce system coordination throughout the WSB service area.
- Agency will retain ownership of strategic relationships and direction; the contractor will provide research, coordination, outreach, follow-up, and implementation support as assigned.
• Support targeted employer and industry activities, sector strategies, employer roundtables, and other WSBled initiatives.
• Gather and organize intelligence regarding occupational demand, workforce shortages, skills, credentials, training needs, business expansion, and emerging industry activity.
• Support follow-up and implementation associated with strategic employer and industry relationships.
• Identify and help advance workforce solutions such as work-based learning, apprenticeship, incumbent worker training, customized training, recruitment strategies, and workforce pipelines.
• Document strategic workforce needs, opportunities, and assigned follow-up through WSB-approved processes.
• Develop and expand relationships with targeted industry employers, industry associations, chambers of commerce, educational institutions, economic development organizations, and workforce partners to increase apprenticeship, internship, work-based learning, and talent pipeline opportunities aligned with WSB strategic industry priorities.
• Identify employers capable of serving as long-term workforce partners and assist WSB in creating sustainable talent pipeline agreements.
• Support development of industry advisory groups and employer collaboratives focused on workforce shortages and career pathway development.
