The vendor is required to provide a website design firm to develop and execute comprehensive website redevelopment that creates a modern platform for the town.
- The current website platform is outdated and requires a modern, mobile-first and mobile-friendly interface to help easily convey and share information that is easy to navigate and explore for residents and visitors alike.
- Community such as:
• Winter polar bear dips;
• Ice fishing;
• Skating on our beautiful lake during the winter;
• Year-round events, festivals, and fireworks shows;
• Water activities like paddle-boarding, kayaking, sailing, and even diving;
• Beach volleyball;
• And so much more! - The redevelopment of a new website; the website should include to:
• Simple layout
• Mobile-friendly
• Easy to navigate
• Strong internal search functionality
• Brand compliant
• Granular user permissions controls
• User-friendly and non-proprietary content management (CMS) giving municipal staff the ability to add, delete, or change the content of the website easily; add forms or documents including pdf files in read-only and form format, images/photos, templates; ability to adjust font size and styles (fonts/colors/sizes); and the main splash screen without the assistance of a developer
• Strong and in-depth analytics
• Print-friendly functionality
• Page and/or e-mail subscriptions
• Ability to mass check for broken links across the site
• Address how back-ups of the site are completed
• Forms with workflow capabilities
• Emergency banners
• Single sign-on (SSO)
• Integration with Esri maps
• If data is being stored, then we would need the data centers to be in state
