User Interface and User Experience Design Services

The Vendor is required to provide for the provision of User Interface/User Experience (UI/UX) Design Services. Service Providers have the option of bidding on external-facing work (Stream 1), internal-facing work (Stream 2), or both.
- Service Provider Must demonstrate strong expertise in UI and UX design, apply industry best practices, and take a forward-looking approach supported by effective coordination, flexible resourcing, and a commitment to accessible, high-quality outcomes. Services are expected to include both advisory support and full design execution.
- Design thinking to develop user-centered solutions and continues to strengthen UX practices across its digital initiatives. Projects are primarily managed using a Waterfall approach, with iterative or hybrid approaches used where appropriate, typically with UX design completed ahead of development sprints.
- Internal delivery approach: support efficient workflows, role-based needs, and usability for staff.
- Internal-service risks: productivity impacts, adoption/change fatigue, and privacy/security considerations.
- Relevant capabilities: enterprise UX, information architecture, service design, and usability testing with staff.
- Coordination: working with multiple internal stakeholders, governance and standards, and change management activities.
- Design Skillset Requirements
• Experience applying user-centered design methods across the full delivery lifecycle.
• User research capability, including stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and synthesis of findings.
• Information architecture and content structure design.
• Interaction design and prototyping capability.
• UI design expertise for web and mobile, including responsive design.
• Experience working with and contributing to design systems and reusable component libraries.
• Accessibility and inclusive design expertise.
• Usability evaluation and testing capability.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate design decisions clearly.
• Proficiency with industry-standard UI/UX tools used for design and collaboration (e.g., Figma, InVision or Adobe XD).
