Waste Collection and Disposal Services

The vendor is required to provide waste disposal services to support operations at various city facilities.
• Placement of waste bins:
o Supply and maintain 30-yard capacity waste bins.
o Place bins at designated locations, as specified in the contract.
o Additional locations may be added over the course of the contract
o Service types include:
• Scheduled services – bins placed and serviced regularly for the duration of the contract.
• Temporary services – bins placed on an as-needed basis for limited timeframes.
• Emergency services – bins are delivered and serviced on short notice to address urgent or unplanned waste disposal needs.
• Waste hauling:
o Collect waste from bins and transport it to a permitted landfill.
o Collection schedules vary depending on site:
• Scheduled services – occur on a regular, pre-established schedule.
• Temporary services – performed upon request.
• Emergency services – performed on short notice to respond to urgent or unexpected waste collection needs.
• Responsiveness:
o Initial drop-off for scheduled services must be completed within three (3) business days of request.
o Temporary service requests must be fulfilled within three (3) business days of request issuance, unless otherwise agreed upon.
o Emergency service requests must be fulfilled within 24 hours of request issuance, or as mutually agreed upon in urgent circumstances.
