The vendor required to provide cursive writing adoption services for include:
•    Provide explicit cursive handwriting instruction for students in grades 3–5.
•    Align with foundational writing expectations outlined in the 2023.
•    Is explicit, systematic, and sequential and includes direct modeling.
•    Developmentally sequenced lesson materials.
•    Visual models supporting correct stroke patterns and letter formation.
•    Student practice materials designed to build fluency and legibility.
•    Opportunities for students to engage in reading cursive text, including authentic and
•    Developmentally appropriate sources.
•    Assessment tools or measures to evaluate.
•    Progress monitoring strategies aligned with instructional goals.
